IPO Weekly Recap: Patriot National struggles in debut

This past week two IPOs debuted, three updated terms and four new deals filed.

The 2015 IPO market opened with a pair of deals that had an uninspiring performance. Patriot National (NYSE: PN) priced below the range, $14, and debuted with a first trade of $13.49. ‘PN’ never traded above its offering price on day one. The other deal to debut, County Bancorp (Nasdaq: ICBK), priced $0.25 below the prevailing $16-$18 range at $15.75. ‘ICBK’ opened at $16.35 for a 3.8% premium above the offering price. The low float deal (1.18 million shares) hit a high of $17.09 representing a 9% increase above the offering price.

It should be noted that the Sutherland Asset Management (NYSE: SLD) IPO has been postponed. There is no further information at this time.
