(DPC): Aerospace Engine Products IPO Blasts Higher, Trades Strong on Day One

DPC Holdings priced 27.9 million shares at $33.00, above the company’s marketed range of $28 to $32 and larger than the originally proposed 23.3 million share offering. The transaction raised approximately $921 million before expenses and represented one of the largest industrial IPOs of the year.

The pricing outcome was hardly unexpected. Throughout the marketing process, channel checks consistently pointed to exceptionally strong demand. According to market sources, the deal ultimately finished “north of 30x oversubscribed,” an extraordinary level of demand even by recent aerospace IPO standards. During the roadshow, management reportedly achieved a 100% hit rate with targeted investors, while several sizable anchor long-only institutions entered the order book early in the process.

Sources also indicated that the top 20 accounts received more than 60% of the allocation, a sign that underwriters prioritized high-conviction, long-term holders over fast-money participants. As demand continued building, investors were repeatedly warned to expect significant cutbacks, with allocations ultimately falling well short of many requested order sizes.

Shares opened at $44.00, representing an immediate 33.3% gain over the IPO price. While some early profit-taking pushed the stock briefly down to an intraday low of $42.90, buyers quickly stepped back in.

The remainder of the session was characterized by steady accumulation, with shares climbing throughout the day before reaching an intraday high of $47.11. The stock ultimately closed at $46.88, just pennies below the day’s peak and representing a first-day gain of 42.1% from the IPO price.

The stock lifted as high as $49.35 on Friday and closed the week at $47.15.

Sinda Ltd. (SIND): IPO Recovers From Weak Open to Finish Flat in Measured Debut

Exploration-stage silver developer Sinda (SIND US) delivered a subdued but ultimately resilient debut, overcoming an early selloff to finish its first day of trading unchanged from its IPO price. The company priced 17.75 million shares at $12.00, in the lower half of its $11.25-$13.25 range, before opening at $10.80, a 10% discount to the offering price. After briefly touching its opening level as the session low, the shares gradually recovered throughout the day, closing at $12.00 for a flat first-day performance.

The transaction followed an accelerated timetable. Sinda launched its IPO on June 22 with plans to price on June 30 and begin trading on July 1, but strong execution by the underwriting syndicate allowed the deal to be pulled forward. The company ultimately priced on June 25 and debuted on June 26, an indication that the book had developed sufficiently ahead of schedule despite a market environment that remains selective toward exploration-stage issuers. Additionally, some of the underwriters associated with the deal has Canadian ties and “Canada Day” is July 1st — sparking some debate on that being the reason for acceleration.

DSC Holdings (DSC): IPO Skids Off the Road in First Trading Session

DSC Holdings (DSC US) first day as a public company quickly turned into a cautionary tale for IPO investors. The China-based automotive software and transaction-services provider priced its 3.0 million ADS offering at $17.00 per share, the midpoint of its marketed range, but failed to generate meaningful enthusiasm once trading began. After opening at $16.00 and briefly touching an intraday high of $16.35, sellers overwhelmed the market, sending the stock into a steep decline that included multiple volatility halts before closing at $9.06. The result was one of the weakest IPO debuts of the year and reinforced many of the concerns that had surrounded the transaction heading into pricing.

DSC’s first-day performance stands out as one of the worst IPO debuts in our records dating back to 2020. By closing at $9.06, down 46.7% from its $17.00 IPO price, DSC shattered recent lows for first-day performance. Prior to DSC, the weakest first-day close of 2026 belonged to Mobia Medical (MOBI US), which finished its debut session down 21.7%. Looking further back, the worst first-day close in 2024 was recorded by Metagenomi, Inc. at -31.3%, while the lowest first-day close in our records since 2020 had been VIA optronics AG, which ended its first session down 32.1%. DSC’s 46.7% decline eclipsed both of those marks by a wide margin, underscoring just how decisively investors rejected the offering.

The IPO did not fare better on day two and closed the week at $7.25 or 54% below the IPO price.

The IPO calendar remains active heading into July, with four companies currently scheduled to make their public market debuts on July 1. Bending Spoons S.p.A. is an AI-driven software company that acquires, improves, and scales digital applications and technology businesses through its proprietary operating playbook. ITG, Inc. is a private equity-backed provider of mission-critical industrial inspection, testing, and maintenance services across energy, infrastructure, and industrial end markets. Neutron Holdings, Inc. Rounding out the group is CopperTech Metals Inc., a mining company focused on advancing its flagship copper asset in Zambia while seeking to capitalize on growing global demand for copper driven by electrification, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and the energy transition.

DPC Holdings Ltd.
